Awarded 1st Place in Epublishing: Ebook at The University of Houston's RedFest 2023
In assembling an ePhotoBook showcasing a selection of my favorite personal photographs, I sought to pay tribute to the beauty of the Color Factory, HTX. This art attraction never fails to leave me speechless with its abundance of vibrant colors. With this ePhotoBook, I aimed to capture and share the essence of that beautiful experience.
When it came to designing the layout, I intended to choose colors that would harmoniously complement and enhance the beauty of my photographs. At first, I was drawn to a vibrant rainbow palette, believing that an array of hues would perfectly represent the Color Factory's allure. However, as I worked on the layout, I realized that the bold colors overshadowed the vibrancy of my images. I decided to pivot and embrace a softer color palette, embracing the gentle tones of yellows, pinks, and greens. This adjustment aimed to create a more balanced visual experience, allowing the photographs to shine as the true stars of the ePhotoBook.
